The Environment

Mitre is committed to protecting the environment both by its own actions and monitoring those of suppliers, whilst continuing to deliver high standards of products & service to all its customers.

As a further commitment we follow the Good Practice Guidelines as laid down by the Textile Services Association. Specific areas targeted include:

• Research with suppliers to minimise wastage and fuel usage
• Minimising heat and energy loss and minimise fuel usage.
• Using fuel and emission efficient vehicles including cars.
• Disposing of chemicals and machinery in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
• Using recycled packaging and paper wherever possible
• Recycling linen, paper and packaging materials wherever possible.
